On 8th May 2022, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) is expected to carry out the election of a new Chief Executive to oversee the administration of HKSAR. The elections will be the first to comply with the May 2021, new legislation that requires all elected members of the local councils to serve the interests of “one country two systems” principle,  that ensures security, peace and stability not only for Hong Kong, but also for main land China and the entire  South China Sea territory.

The 2019 chaos in Hong Kong resulted into enormous economic loss as well as loss of lives. The new Chief Executive must ensure that such chaos and lawlessness should not be repeated with foreign hands hidden behind. The election taking place at the backdrop of the Russia-Ukraine war where foreign forces want to use Ukraine as a stepping stone to destroy Russia, is an eye opener on foreign interests in Hong Kong against the rise of mainland China.

Foreign interests especially the US should not be allowed to interfere with the elections, and to use HKSAR as a base for geopolitical strategies for a proxy war to destabilize peace and security in mainland China.  The new Chief executive should cherish the unity of HKSAR and mainland China as one state, and ready to fight foreign interests that promote a separatist agenda.

The slogan for HKSAR leadership should be “united we stand dived we fall”, and therefore, should desist from foreign forces that wish them no good but to fall. Unity of all Hong Kong people is the only way to realize peace, security, sustainable development and prosperity for all.
