Congratulations to the CPC for 100 years celebration.

The management and staff at Africa China Review publication are delighted to congratulate the Communist Party of China (CPC), the secretary general of the party president Xi Jinping and the people of China for celebrating 100 years reflecting on the great achievements China has realized under the leadership of CPC.

When International students at Peking University wrote a letter to President Xi Jinping who is also general secretary of the Communist Party, little did they know that the president with the busy schedule would get time to respond. They were over excited by the response to their congratulatory message to the Communist Party of China for the centenary celebration reflecting on what China has accomplished in the 100 year journey led by the CPC.

In this journey, China has moved from one of the poorest countries of the world  around the  1960s to become the second largest economy in the world!  China has lifted around 800 million people out of poverty and since 2020, there is no Chinese citizen still living in absolute poverty!  These are miraculous achievements within a lifetime, which required dedication, hard work, transformational and people centred leadership. 

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has taken the lead in the global fight against the pandemic giving material and human resource support both to rich and poor countries in need without discrimination. The world appreciates China’s cooperation and support for multilateralism in dealing with global challenges and progress for human kind.

We wish the CPC, president Xi and the people of China continued progress and prosperity towards national rejuvenation.
